The illuminated canopy over the bar is the whole composition, and everything else is arranged so as not to compete with it. RL-ST1330 forms it — and forms the long sweeping cove in the curved ceiling raft as well. Both are continuous runs of several metres behind a diffuser, which is precisely where 24V earns its place: on 12V, the far end of a curve that long visibly falls away. RL-DL3333 supplies the ceiling field with a super-deep cup and double anti-glare cone, so a bar with high ceilings and low seating reads as light on surfaces rather than a grid of bright dots overhead. RL-WS8117 gives the timber walls their round disc sconces in gold — the catalogue disc emits from the edge where the ones shown have a visible inner lens, so the finish is the match rather than the detail. RL-SDL1416 puts tight beams on the back-bar display; at CRI above 90 with a brass finish option, it keeps the spirits looking like merchandise rather than stock.

This room serves breakfast under one scene and dinner under another, so it is layered rather than lit — general, cove, wall, each on its own DALI address. RL-DL3333 provides the recessed field across the tiled ceiling. RL-ST1226 handles the cove in the stepped perimeter bulkhead and the grazing on the brass bar front; the slimmer 10mm tape is specified here rather than the heavier 24V used in the bar because these are shorter shadow-gap runs where the tighter section matters more than raw output. RL-WS8117 mounts on the timber fin columns as the most visible fitting in the room, and the thing that carries the language back to the bar — a hotel public floor should feel like one place, and repeating a wall light is the cheapest way to achieve that.
