A double-height lobby needs something occupying the volume, or the space above head height reads as empty. RL-PNT-CIR does that: the family runs from D500 to D2000, which is what lets three or four different diameters hang at different drops and read as one composition rather than a repeated fitting. Beneath it the scheme goes quiet. RL-DL3333 covers the ceiling field with a super-deep cup and double anti-glare cone, necessary because the floor is large-format pale stone that bounces everything back. RL-ST1226 lights the angular cove cut into the ceiling raft and the line under the check-in desk — the detail that makes a curved counter look like it is floating rather than standing on the floor. RL-WS8117 is the disc sconce on the column: a wall-mounted source is what puts light on faces at check-in, which downlights alone never manage.

Full-height glazing on two sides means this room is lit as much by the city as by the scheme, and the job at night is to keep the glass readable rather than turning it into a mirror. RL-PD6008 hangs low over the window tables at 20 or 30W with a 38° beam, so light lands on the linen and not across the room — which is what stops the window becoming a black reflective wall after dark. It is offered in white and black rather than the brass shown, so the finish would need specifying. RL-ST1330 lights the cove around the large circular raft, carrying the same ceiling language through from the lounge. RL-DL3333 fills in the flat ceiling beyond the raft and over the service counter, kept deliberately low so the tables read brighter than the room.
